Do you use any substrate material on the bottom of the slabs?
When using 3-cm thick material over base cabinets, additional substrate material is not necessary.

How deep (front to back) do you cut your slabs?
The typical granite slab size is 68”x113”. Our granite tops are typically cut at about a +/- 25-1/2” depth, based on the base cabinet and door style. We actually fabricate the slabs 100% ourselves so they do not come to us as a fixed 25” dimension.

What will the overhang at the front of my cabinets be?
It looks like you have a 16” - 18” idea. Most of our customers would elect to have an 18” depth fabricated and installed. But it is truly a personal preference.

Do you charge for sink hole and faucet hole cuts?
Yes we do charge to drill, cut and polish granite for sink and faucet holes. Based on the drawings you sent, the charges are included in your price. All sink cut-outs also include reinforced rod.

We already have a sink. Will you "glue" this in place at the factory during fabrication or at the time the granite is installed?
All sinks are set during installation at the job-site using our undermount sink bracket system. Because the weight is supported by this system, the sinks are not glued to the bottom of your granite. However, we do add a silicone sealant between the granite and the sink. With more than 7000 new granite kitchens installed, we we have never experienced a water issue at sinks. However, we would not recommend over filling your sink.

What will the seam placement be?
Seam options and locations are finalized and discussed at the time of template. The average slab size is 68” x 113”. We never install seams immediately beside or in front of sinks. Also, seams cannot be placed over dishwashers. Supreme Surface, Inc. is a high quality granite fabricator, a minimum number of seams is standard.
